Ministries
The most influential part of the executive of the Government of the Netherlands are the ministries. There are twelve ministries of the Netherlands, all with specific responsibilities.
Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature
This ministry is responsible for the agricultural and fisheries sectors, as well as food security and nature conservation.
Cabinet
The cabinet of the Netherlands (Dutch: Nederlands kabinet) is the main executive body of the Netherlands. The latest cabinet of the Netherlands is the Rutte IV cabinet, which was formed on 10 January 2022.
Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands is the head of government and chairs the cabinet. The Minister of General Affairs is responsible for the coordination of government policy and the functioning of the cabinet.
New Government
The new government is a coalition of the Freedom Party (PVV), the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), and New Social Contract (NZa).
