Boeing's CST-100 Starliner Crew Ship Approaches International Space Station
Starliner Reaches Orbit After Successful Launch
Boeing's CST-100 Starliner crew ship has successfully completed its Orbital Flight Test-2 mission and is approaching the International Space Station (ISS).
Milestone for Boeing and NASA
The arrival of the Starliner capsule at the ISS marks a significant milestone for Boeing and NASA. The capsule is scheduled to dock at the station on Saturday, May 21, which will be another major accomplishment in the development of the spacecraft.
Astronaut Mission Preparation
Once Starliner docks at the ISS, Boeing and NASA will prepare for the spacecraft's first astronaut mission. This mission, known as Crew Flight Test, will carry astronauts to the station for a six-month stay.
Data Download After Docking
During its approach to the ISS, Starliner will transmit data back to Earth. However, the complete data download will occur after the spacecraft docks at the station.
